Newcastle Runners 2015 Winter 10K Series

Race Dates: June 21 at Stockton parkrun course, July 26 at Newy parkrun course, August 16 at Lake Mac parkrun course
These runs are intended to be non-competitive, enjoyable events suitable for runners of all abilities who would like to try a flat 10km in Newcastle. Entry is free for runners who are paid-up members of the Newcastle Runners Club - www.newcastlerunners.com.au. (Note: All members of the Night Striders running group are automatically members of the Newcastle Runners Club.)

Runners who aren’t already registered with the Newcastle Runners Club can join on the Athletics NSW website here for a cost of $20.88 (or reduced amounts for juniors). Please select ‘Newcastle Runners Incorporated’ from the drop-down list as the club name.
Belonging to the Newcastle Runners Club has a number of benefits including insurance and event participation.
Temporary memberships to the Newcastle Runners Club can be completed on the morning of the 10km run by filling in a temporary membership form. Non-members wishing to complete a temporary membership on the day should arrive promptly at 7:30am to allow time to fill in the form.
Run times and finishing order will be recorded and posted online for everyone to view. 
The run events dates are specifically scheduled for runners looking for a ‘sharpening’ 10km run 2 weeks prior to the following major running events:(As all 10K runs are scheduled for Sunday morning, some runners may want to incorporate them into their normal long Sunday morning run.)
