Join Athletics NSW and Flyers as a package

Athletics NSW membership is separate from Newcastle Flyers membership, however Flyers are entitled to a $15 discount because all our members are registered as Community Members with Athletics NSW.
Athletics NSW membership is for those runners who wish to participate in ANSW events. The recommended Athletics NSW memberships for Flyers are Winter Membership or Open Athlete. There are some great benefits to both these ANSW memberships which are described below. The difference between them is basically the Open Athlete allows you to race the summer (Track) and winter series, whereas the winter membership is only winter. 
Both memberships give you free entry into all RunNSW fun run events.
2024 Winter Membership
COST: $105.00 
  • Eligibility to compete in all Athletics NSW and Athletics Australia Sanctioned Events from January 1st through to December 31st 
  • Free entry into all RunNSW events (excluding Shoalhaven King of the Mountain)

2024 Athletics NSW Open Athlete Membership
COST: $180.00 (Must be 20 years of age or over)  
  • Eligibility to compete in all Athletics NSW and Athletics Australia Sanctioned Events from September 16, 2023 to September 30, 2024.
  • FREE entry into all RunNSW Greater Bank Events
  • Half Price Entry into RunNSW Waratah Series Events
  • Coverage for Personal Accident Insurance under the National Insurance Plan
