Flyers Super Series
- Accumulate points across the year based on where you place against other Flyers in nominated events
- Harder races receive added difficulty points
- Your best eight (8) events across the year count to your total score
Also generally events with larger Flyers participation are more fairly weighted compared to events with smaller Flyers participation.
End of season trophies will be awarded in the flowing categories:
- Overall Male point scorer
- Overall Female point scorer

Basic Points

Basic points continue to be awarded on your best 8 events. You can participate in as many events as you choose. The basic points scales have been amended and simplified to more fairly reflect the actual numbers of Flyers participating in each event:

Difficulty Bonus
|
In addition to basic points, a difficulty bonus will be assigned to each race to acknowledge the greater preparation, effort and recovery involved in longer and more difficult events.

Individual Event Points
|
If there are multiple events in a running festival, results will be awarded for each and every individual event. For example, if you are running the 10k at Hill 2 Harbour, you will be scored only against other Flyers running the 10k and anyone running the half marathon will be scored separately against other Flyers running the half marathon.

Results confirmation
Generally, names of Flyers members will be matched to the race results and Super Series points will be automatically allocated. For some larger events there will be a Facebook ‘roll call’ leading into the event so you can let everyone know you are running and your result will be picked up.
If for any reason you raced in a Super Series event and your time is not automatically picked up, please advise the Flyers Timing and Results coordinator and you will be added in.
